A few of us were discussing a flickering lamp effect in the ACL chat room a while ago.
The desire was to have a fairly realistic looking lamp and light fitting, but with the ability to flicker / dim it.
After the mod, the lamp behaves as a simple low wattage 12V LED, so can be easily controlled.
The controller could be a standard DC controller driven from a sequencer, or a dedicated flicker board.
